iBcell is an independent cellular coverage testing and training firm. We conducted In-Building Cellular Coverage Score (iBcellScore®) test at the property located at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015 owned by the City of Los Angeles and managed by AEG Facilities on 10/12/2019.
This score was calculated using our proprietary In-Building Cellular Score (iBcellScore®) algorithm and specially modified UE devices for test purposes. It represents overall coverage and performance of cellular networks represented in this report on the day the test was performed by iBcell professionals
This building was scored according to the results of the iBcellScore® test.
iBcell’s independent cellular coverage testing provides commercial and corporate real estate owners, investors, property management firms, and tenants clear and simple iBcellScore® based reports. This report helps assess the current cellular coverage of the building at the address mentioned above based on commonly used criteria from all US major wireless carriers: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
Please Note: This iBcellScore® report may be shared with potential or existing tenants, owners, management companies, investors, national wireless carriers, or any other public entities showing interest in the property mentioned and tested by iBcell.
Our proprietary In-Building Cellular Score (iBcellScore®) testing tools and algorithms were developed with help of the wireless industry’s leading Radio Frequency (RF) engineers and are accepted as the preferred method for assessing cellular coverage in commercial/corporate real estate properties. iBcellScore® tests are designed to be referenced by tenants and commercial/corporate real estate professionals to check in-building cellular coverage by major wireless carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
iBcellScore® is a benchmark for assessing 4G/LTE and 5G (when & where available) cellular coverage for commercial and corporate real estate properties in the US.

This building was scored according to the results of the iBcellScore® test.
Coverage & Voice Call:
This portion of the test was performed using our proprietary In-Building Cellular Score (iBcellScore®) testing algorithm and specifically modified user equipment (UE) devices to determine Radio Frequency (RF) coverage available by each national wireless carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint), network capacity, and users’ ability to make voice calls during the test. Results were incorporated into each carrier’s performance score and also used to calculate overall iBcellScore® for the building tested in this report.
Functionality & Data:
This portion of the test was performed using our proprietary In-Building Cellular Score (iBcellScore®) testing algorithm and specifically modified UE devices to determine overall data throughput made available by each national wireless carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint) within the test building under normal conditions. It tested user functionality aspects of the particular wireless carrier network using UE devices to mimic typical user tasks such as downloading/uploading data, sending emails, web surfing, social media postings, interacting with commonly used mobile applications, and using select streaming video services. Results were incorporated into each carrier’s performance score and also used to calculate an overall iBcellScore® for the building tested in this report.
How iBcellScore® conducts its tests?
iBcell deploys certified technicians to collect quality data and metrics pertaining to in-Building cellular networks. Our quality control professionals then ensure the collected data is accurate and meets pre-defined standards. iBcell’s stated objective is to report In-Building cellular coverage as accurately as possible from the perspective of an average cellular network user in a real-world scenario. iBcell data is collected by specially trained professionals and does not rely on unsound crowd-sourced data.
Test Conclusion
In-Building Cellular Coverage Score (iBcellScore®) test conducted at the building/venue located at 1201 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015 owned by the City of Los Angeles and managed by AEG Facilities on 10/12/2019 resulted overall rating of Fair.
iBcellScore® Recommendation:
The building tested received a Fair rating and iBcellScore® of 4.4. It has an average level of 4G/LTE cellular coverage. One of more major carriers may lack coverage in the building. Certain network user functionality didn’t meet industry standards during testing. Users of some wireless carriers will experience frequent dropped calls and a slow connection. We recommend contacting wireless carrier representatives in your area to inquire about the poor score in the performance section of this report and discussing the possibility of improving their coverage in your building.

Disclaimer: In the U.S., it’s not always the wireless carriers’ responsibility to ensure adequate in-building cellular coverage and user functionality inside a building. Sometimes this responsibility is assumed by commercial building owners, corporate entities, investors, management companies or tenants. Various factors are considered in determining the responsible party for in-building cellular coverage. Building function, occupancy, classification, type of cellular data/coverage demand and other factors not covered here or beyond the scope of this disclaimer are regularly considered. iBcell plays no role in determining the responsible party for in-building cellular coverage and user functionality for the tested commercial/corporate building. However, it is our goal to build a database mapping reliable in-building cellular coverage and functionality in the U.S. that can be shared with the public. Any commercial/corporate real estate property above 100K sq. ft and accessible by the U.S. public can and may be tested by iBcell. Individual wireless coverage reports will be issued and subsequently assigned an In-Building Cellular Score (iBcellScore®) which can be further shared with the public to ensure occupant/visitor safety.
